SURPLUS ("the app") is a satirical single-player life simulation game published by SURPLUS. By using the app you agree to these terms.
The game
SURPLUS is entertainment. Nothing in it is financial, medical, career, or life advice. Any resemblance between its numbers and your life is a coincidence we did not plan and cannot fix.
Accounts
You can play as a guest with no account. If you sign in with Google or email, you are responsible for keeping that sign-in secure. You may delete your account at any time in Settings → Account → Delete account (or see /delete-account); deletion removes your profile, statistics, and cloud data.
Purchases
Where your store supports it, the app offers optional in-app purchases: packs of extra game days, single-use Wellness™ items, and Limited homes, rides and looks, with prices shown in the app and by the store before you buy. They are consumable digital items. Five game days are free every 24 hours; bought days are used after the free ones, when you end a day, and do not expire. A Wellness™ item is used the moment it is bought. A Limited home, ride or look is unlocked for your current life only: it still costs in-game money like any other item of its tier, and it is gone when that life ends. Purchases are processed by Google Play or the App Store, and refunds follow their policies. Purchases have no cash value and cannot be transferred. They are kept on your device, or with your account if you are signed in; a guest's purchases can be lost if the app is uninstalled or its data cleared. SURPLUS+, a subscription, is not offered in this version.
Fair play
Do not attempt to tamper with the app, its saves, or its purchases, or to use it in a way that harms other players or the service.
Availability
The app is provided as is. We may change or discontinue features, including what is sold, with notice where the law requires it. Purchases you have already made stay usable while the app is available.
Liability
To the extent the law allows, the publisher is not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from use of the app. SURPLUS regrets nothing.
Changes
If these terms change, the updated version will be posted at the same URL and the "last updated" date will change.
